Oladapo (Alex) Olajide is young transport planning consultant who is passionate about the strategic role of transportation in fostering economically vibrant, healthy, and sustainable cities globally. He has worked as an intern planning consultant with Arup Canada and EcoPlan International (EPI) respectively. Alex completed his master’s degree in Planning from the University of British Columbia’s School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) specializing in transportation. He also obtained a bachelor’s of Environmental Studies degree in International Development from the University of Waterloo in 2013. Alex professional specialties cover transport infrastructure planning, economics, finance, and development. His primary career goal is to guide transport agencies, governments, private business, and the public in making informed decisions about urban transport investments using advanced evidence based transportation techniques.
