Eric is a licensed architect with experience in design, construction, and education. He received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley (UC-Berkeley) and an master’s in Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His studies and experience have focused on sustainable urban design.
The focus of Eric’s research is the effectiveness of sustainable urban design policies. He wants to study the metrics of sustainability in the built environment and understand how policies affect these metrics. He sees the Health and Community Design Lab as an ideal venue in which to learn effective methods of measuring urban systems.
